Hi Angie... I will fancy this up later. This is to show you kind of what I had in mind. I finally was able to parse an XML feed from
http://www.iftach.org/taxmatrix3/choose_tableq2.php and
use that to come up with some data for this thing. I think the next step will be to maintain a list of states you run through
and add up the necessary info.
By the way, you will notice duplicate states IN, KY, and VA in the US state list. I just discovered those showed up in the XML
with a "SURCHARGE" label. Not sure how to handle those yet. Any footnotes belonging to a jurisdiction will show up when the
state is selected. I excluded the Canada providences. Let me know if you want those or not. This is just a start...
